Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4E TC 1.4 FL ED VR Lens to be Announced Next Week

According to Nokishita, Nikon will announce the previous rumored AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4E TC 1.4 FL ED VR lens next week. Two new accessories will also be introduced together: HK-41 (lens hood) and LC-K103 (front lens cap).

From Nokishita:

I confirmed that Nikon will start booking “AF-S NIKKOR 180-400 mm F4E TC 1.4 FL ED VR” next week. Accessories to be booked together confirm “HK – 41″ and “LC – K 103″.

This new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4 ED TC VR lens will be equipped with a built-in 1.4x teleconverter just like the Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS version ($10,999), to replace the current Nikon 200-400mm f/4G ED VR II lens ($6,997). And this AF-S NIKKOR 180-400mm f/4E TC 1.4 FL ED VR lens will have a very sophisticated optical formula around 30 elements and it should be priced anywhere from 10-14k (the canon version is $10,999).

In addition, the Nikon D5S full frame DSLR camera is rumored to be announced in January 2018, probably at CES show 2018.
