CAPA: Nikon Z9 is the Best Selling Camera in the Second Half of January 2022
The Japanese website CAPA Camera announced Yodobashi Camera’s top ten best-selling interchangeable lens digital cameras in the second half of January 2022: The Nikon Z9 wins the NO. 1 best selling camera, followed by the Sony a7 IV.
Top 10 brand new digital camera sales ranking from January 16th to 31st, 2022:
1st: Nikon Z9 (Amazon, B&H, Adorama)
2nd: Sony a7 IV Body (Amazon, B&H, Adorama)
3rd: Sony a7 III Body (Amazon, B&H, Adorama)
4th: Canon EOS R5 Body (Amazon, B&H, Adorama)
5th: Sony a7S III Body (Amazon, B&H, Adorama)
6th: Nikon Z fc with 16-50mm Lens Kit
7th: Canon EOS R6 Body (Amazon, B&H, Adorama)
8th: Sony a7 III Lens Kit
9th: Canon EOS RP with RF 24-105mm IS STM Lens Kit
10th: Nikon Z50 Double Zoom kit
The Nikon Z9 is amazing, despite being an expensive professional machine, overtaking the best-selling a7 IV. In addition to this, Nikon also ranked Zfc and Z50, and the momentum came out.
Sony has stopped accepting orders for the ZV-E10 and a6400, which have disappeared from the rankings, but full-size machines such as the a7 IV, a7 III, and a7S III, which are still in production, are sick. The a7 III is ranked 3rd and 8th, and seems to have maintained its high popularity even after the appearance of the a7 IV. Three models of Canon are ranked in, but overall the ranking has dropped a little.
