Here are the pricing info and length of the new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens.

Price:

The price of this Nikon 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens is expected to be around $4,300/€4,300 (converted from the leaked Asian pricing, the actual US and EU pricing could be slightly different. For comparison, the current Nikon 300mm f/4E PF ED VR lens is priced at $1,996.95 and the Nikon 500mm f/4E FL ED VR lens costs $10,296.95.

Length:

Despite its 500mm focal length, the new Nikon 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens will be significantly smaller and compact with a total length of 24cm. For comparison, the current Nikon 300mm f/4E PF ED VR lens is 14.7cm and the Nikon 500mm f/4E FL ED VR lens is 38.7cm.
