Nikon D6 Delayed to Late 2019
The previous report said the Nikon D6 flagship DSLR camera is currently in development, which is expected to arrive in early 2019. But now it seems that the announcement of Nikon D6 is delayed to late 2019. The reason for delay is due to buffer design. The latest rumor suggests that Nikon want to make the upcoming Nikon D6 with more MP and buffer that can provide the same performance as the Nikon D500.
The long awaited Nikon D6 DSLR camera will have CF Express memory card slot (or slots). CF Express memory cards are much faster than the other kind of memory cards, max read speed up to 1,400 MB/s. And the new CF Express card firmware update for the Nikon Z6 & Z7 mirrorless cameras cameras is also expected to be released in Q2 of 2019.
Nikon D5: $6,496.95 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.
