Nikon Develops New Mechanical Focal-plane Shutter Adapted for Mirrorless

Nikon Japan has filed a new patent for new mechanical focal-plane shutter adapted for mirrorless cameras. That means Nikon is currently working hard on Nikon DX and full frame mirrorless cameras.

The latest rumors suggest that Nikon will announce two mirrorless cameras in 2018: one Nikon DX mirrorless and one Nikon full frame mirrorless.
