According to the trusted sources, the new Nikon NIKKOR Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S Lens announcement will be around April 4th, 2022. The new 800mm will be a PF lens, so, the price will be “cheaper than expected”.

This lens has been downsized by using a diffractive optical element, and it seems that the total length will be almost the same as 400mm F2.8 S. It looks like it will be a very portable 800mm lens. The price will be “cheaper than expected”.
