Nikon Will Announce a New NIKKOR Z Lens by the end of the year (600mm?)

The most recent reports claim that Nikon will reveal a new NIKKOR Z Lens by the end of the year. The NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 (or f/4.5) seems to be the front-runner in this race.

The “Nikon Z9,” a flagship model that launched in 2021, is still in great demand and seems to be the motivation for the development of the Nikon Z system. There is an immediate need for the development of lenses that are compatible with cameras. If the 200-600mm and 600mm S were given priority on the lens roadmap, it wouldn’t be shocking. Personally, I would want to see new lenses that are not only affordable but also portable, tiny, and lightweight.

The upcoming new Z-mount lenses:

  • Nikon Nikkor Z 70-180mm (f/2.8)
  • Nikon Nikkor Z 35mm S Line (f/1.2)
  • Nikon Nikkor Z 135mm S Line (f/1.8)
  • The Nikkor Z 12-28mm DX lens is now PZ
  • Nikon NIKKOR Z DX 24mm Lens
  • Nikon Nikkor Z 26mm Pancake Compact Lens
  • Nikon NIKKOR Z DX 12-28mm Zoom Lens
  • Nikon NIKKOR Z 85mm (f/1.2) S Lens
  • Nikon Nikkor Z 200-600mm (f/6.3) Lens
  • Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 S Lens
