Nikon Z8 and D860 Rumored to Have a 60MP Sensor

The previous report said Nikon will announce a new camera that features 60.8MP (9552×6364) sensor and the new 16-bit NEF files. Now, trusted sources are claiming that both Nikon D860 and Nikon Z8 cameras will use 60MP IMX455AQR sensor from Sony.

As we reported, Nikon is rumored to announce a new high-end/professional Z-mount full frame mirrorless camera this year. This new high-end/professional full frame mirrorless camera could be Nikon Z8 and it will use the same Sony a7R IV‘s 60MP full frame CMOS sensor, dual CFexpress card slots, vertical grip, higher price tag.

The new Nikon D860 (D850 replacement) is expected coming after Nikon Z8, maybe in 2021.
